I had products on 1, 2 and 3 without preparation whatsoever. In fact, I wasn't even going to launch it...and prepared the images and text the night before.
I don't believe it so much preparation, it is more important to have some audience that you can rely on.

@sergeipetrov well, the more audience, the more possibilities of getting upvotes...
Yeah, is not easy, at you make shitty threads on Twitter...but those won't stack next to you for the long run, instead...is better to create value.

@michael_andreuzza Got it. So does it make sense to build audience for sometime before lauching?
@michael_andreuzza It looks like building an audience is the main preparation. At the same time, it is also a long and difficult process.

@gauravgoyal_gg, an audience that finds value on you yes, a Twitter thread audience...nope.

@michael_andreuzza This makes so much sense. Thanks for sharing this.

Eagerly looking for some tips and insights form the community.
In most cases, a mobilized community is crucial for the first hours. Then, it's all about the product (and how often PH members out of your network upvote your product).

@daniel_engels What are the best ways to mobilize the community?
Do you mean being in the top three in a day or in a week?
We have conducted an investigation on this topic. There is no simple answer, of course. The launch is a combination of factors, the number of the audience is important here, your activity on the day and week of the launch, and even the day of the launch plays a role.
Here you can find a lot about the launch https://www.indiehackers.com/pro...

@sergeipetrov This is super helpful. Very crisp.
Ideally, top 3 in a week :)
