Hey friends, What are some of the high priority marketing & distribution tasks in your to-do list, ahead of your next product / SaaS launch ? I’m planning to launch a Notion dashboard for solo product marketers in coming days. Some of the action items on my list (not necessarily for PH launch) are: a) Creating launch assets like teaser images, product tagline & description, demo video etc. b) Connect 1:1 with product marketing influencers on Sharebird, Facebook & Linkedin communities c) Set up Facebook Conversion Ads & Linkedin Awareness Ads How are you guys planning to go about your launch prep ? Any advise on what else I can add to my launch prep task list ?

See here some of the tips which came up during two podcasts I did around launching on Product Hunt. 1. Make sure you engage with the community before, so you don't come in cold. 2. Prep first comments 3. Start a discussion on launch day 4. Launch on a day where you get the most possibilities. 5. Launch early (and 6 month after again) You can find the full recordings in spotify or on our site.

At the moment, our product works only in beta version and we are looking for beta users. In terms of marketing, we are building a strategy for SEO and, of course, we are actively starting to work on social networks.

@azfar_ahmed Yes unfortunately. But in any case, we use SEO for long-term solutions, which has a good effect on marketing.

Content marketing is an effective tool for promoting products and services. By creating guides, how-to articles, and other online content that addresses user pain points and problems, you can attract potential customers to your website. Once a user is on your website, they are at the top of your funnel, and you need to guide them to your services or other content. I remember seeing a stat that B2B SaaS customers typically require at least seven pieces of content to make a decision. Therefore, it's essential to have a range of content available to meet their needs. So, focus on creating quality content that addresses your target audience's pain points and be sure to have enough content available to guide them through the decision-making process. Everything else you noted is great; have you considered how the marketing approaches may differ between product-led growth and sales-led growth?

Crafting launch day plan, putting together a checklist, etc. It feels like there's always more to do for the launch and at this point I'm just excited to get through it and move on to the next part of product development!

Another quick question: Are you guys working as solo creators or working with a cross-functional team (irrespective of team size) ?

My main focus is on conducting market research, testing and refining the product, building buzz through social media and email marketing, and ensuring a seamless user experience for our customers.

That's actually a good question, while preparing our product's launch, we are mostly making sure we have good relationships with our early adopters and niche audience for stimpack.io Also looking for the right cross-channel balance and potential co-influencing opportunities.
