It does help! But some simple but great advice I got from a mentor recently - don't burn out going to networking events willy nilly. Spend your time networking with intention - potential customers, or simply people who are fun to talk to and whom you would click with as friends! ☺️

It does help a lot. Especially when it comes to fundraising and m&a conversations. It's also very time consuming so it's ok for just one co-founder to be very active at networking.

It's very important, but I would say the best connections I have made are from people I wasn't even trying to network with. Found them interesting, developed a genuine relationship with them, and then when I came across a question or situation they might have insight into asked for their help. Transactional networking is tough yet still necessary. That being said, I would strive to make genuine connections with people as your primary goal. Those networks are the richest, at least they have been in my experience.
