Context: I have a consulting background and we were still using a combination of sheets, status decks, and emails to communicate where we are in relation to the project goal. Because of that fragmentation, we would get lost in the day to day and try to distribute tasks that may or may not contribute to the success of the project.
Idea: I've been working with a couple people on developing a new concept called missions. The idea is that all tasks and milestones HAVE to be anchored to the project outcome. There's no way around it. This way you'll not deviate from the goal because you have a branching structure that leads into it.
