    Do you know how to create a custom browser to search within specific sites?

    I think you would use Electron or Tauri to do this.

    You can use google search with the "site" parameter. For example "site:https://www.producthunt.com/ brother" will give you results only within Product hunt.

    Have you considered Algolia, even product hunt uses them for search
