@abdullah_arafin by role definition in mean the following: You have a thousand things to do and only a handful of people, that have to do everything. So at the beginning you cannot have people who only do what the job description says. Imagine there is a paper on the floor in the office, everyone should pick it up if they come across with it. With work to do should be the same, and as you grow, talk openly about how the role is changing.
By evaluation I mean that since there is no clear role, job description, career path defined, you can only evaluate based on results and culture fit, but its challenging. Also its the typical thing that you never have time to do.
definitely Hiring, it's hard to attract talent with experience for early stage startup unless you spent a lot on them.
@james_tedy The tech talent market is definitely a tough market to crack. Did you ever consider hiring remotely from southeast Asian countries eg Bangladesh, or Vietnam?
Additionally, if we are considering the young work force have you considered focusing on your HR practices and HR culture to attract talents with good workplace culture and non monetary benefits?
@abdullah_arafin I'm actually from southeast asia, it just that sometimes people with a few YoE prefer more stable company or higher paying job.
