Almost Every Products Are AI Based These Days !!

As I noticed, almost every product these days is AI-based. I like to explore AI-based products, but in such cases, what about traditional products that solve some other real-world problems in conventional ways? What are your views on this 🤔

I do not think that most products are AI-based. What I think is that most companies like to add the word AI to their product page, so they look trendy and investors like it. Most companies try to add some smaller AI features to their products, but being AI-based is a whole different story. Whats your take one that?

@kaustubh_rai1 yes it is, I agree. But in the near future I do not think it will change, AI hype is just too strong right now.

Yes, AI is everywhere, but there's a big difference between 'AI-washed' products and those using AI to deliver real value. The reality is only about 20% of 'AI-powered' products are using artificial intelligence in meaningful ways. AI should enhance human capabilities, not replace every working solution. Look at industries like construction or craftwork - they thrive on time-tested tools and methods, with AI supporting rather than replacing core processes.

It truly is our future. AI has already made such an impact on so many aspects of our lives, and I’m excited to see how it continues to evolve. That said, there’s one thing I wouldn’t entrust to AI—my dissertation work. For something as important as that, I prefer to rely on experts with proven skills and experience. I have nothing against AI-based products, as long as they truly offer value. Unfortunately, most of them are just a set of prompts, often of low quality.

Ease of use is important, but true AI goes beyond convenience. It's about applying knowledge to tackle critical issues, such as developing personalized medicine and improving education. Currently, we are in the stage of exploring AI capabilities. I believe that in the near future, we will see AI truly helping humanity.
