I launched 8 products and got #1 Product of the Day with 3 MakerBox products (https://www.makerbox.club/). It generated 20K+ website visitors and over $15K in revenue (only from PH launches). Here're 10 proven tips for your successful launch ⬇️ 1. Be an active community member 🀝 By being active on the platform, you get points and followers. Why? β€” Your followers are notified when you launch β€” Points give you more credibility How? β€” Create and engage in discussions β€” Check launches and comment 2. Build your audience on Twitter or LinkedIn πŸ‘€ To launch successfully, you need people to support your launch. I recommend #buildinpublic and connecting with other Founders. That's the best way to get feedback, advice, and support. 3. Get feedback on your product and landing page πŸ€“ Early users and beta testers will give you: β€” valuable feedback β€” testimonials for your landing page = social proof β€” support on the launch day Best platforms to get feedback: Product Hunt discussions, Polywork, Indie Hackers. 4. Prepare your landing page for the launch 😻 β€” embed the launch badge β€” put some kitties, Product Hunt community loves them! 5. Create a special offer πŸ€‘ You have a limited offer ➑️ Website visitors have more motivation to sign up right now. Product Hunt brings you lots of website visitors. So, take this opportunity and convert more. 6. Choose the launch day wisely πŸ’‘ πŸš€ Mon β€” Thu are highly competitive, but give you more traffic. πŸ† Fri β€” Sun are less competitive, but the traffic is also less. Chances to win Product of the Day are higher on Fri-Sun. But if you have a huge audience, then launch on Mon-Thu. 7. Schedule the launch. Product Hunt has an amazing guide for preparing all the necessary content correctly. Don't forget to read it ➑️ https://www.producthunt.com/laun... 8. Announce your future launch on your Socials πŸ“’ Remember: you need people to support you on the launch. If you have a Twitter or LinkedIn audience (even if it's small), make sure they won't miss your launch. 9. Prepare the launch distribution plan beforehand πŸ—“ Plan every time slot and every distribution channel. It'll help you stick to the plan and be calm. Your e-mail list, reaching beta-tester and early-users, announcing on your Socials, Slack, Discord, and other channels. 10. Engage a lot on the launch day πŸ₯³ β€” Reply to comments on your launch page β€” Post your launch milestones β€” Run AMA on Product Hunt discussions Everyone should know about your launch πŸš€ Hope it helps, wish everyone a great launch! Great advice! I'll be directing people to this post whenever they inquire about my success in launching 35 projects on Product Hunt. While I may not be active on Twitter and LinkedIn, I've managed to successfully release numerous projects, earning πŸ…πŸ…πŸ… such as "Product of the Day," "Week," and "Month." Ultimately, the quality of the product is crucial. You can have millions of followers, but if the product is πŸ‘Ž, it won't achieve any notable recognition.

@andrianv Definitely, the product is the key at the end of the day.

Thanks for the advice Sveta! Esp. the platforms you mentioned on #3. What I also found is that giving feedback/advice/value without expecting anything can really go a long way.

Thank you for sharing your tips! Looks better to launch on Fri-Sun if you have a smaller audience, I’m wondering what the difference in traffic might be, does anyone have data on this?

Exactly what I needed as we're preparing a ProductHunt at Argil.ai for the beginning of June. What are the worst mistakes to avoid?

Great advice. I would add building a list of makers who would be willing to amplify the launch on D-day.

Awesome advice! Definitely going to use this to launch Ween.AI this month. You mentioned that PH discussions is a good way to get feedback, do you suggest making a discussion post about the product and asking for feedback that way?

@aleksandra_dikan If it's your first launch, I'd recommend launching with Hunter cause the followers get a notification + that's a quick social proof πŸ‘€
