Hey everyone! 👋 We’re excited to introduce Feetr.io, an AI-powered platform that started as a personal project. Initially built for our own use, we quickly realized the value it could bring to others, so we decided to share it with the world. With ~80% accuracy in predicting stock price movements, Feetr.io uses global sentiment analysis to provide actionable insights and price targets, making...

The big boys such as JP Morgan and Bloomberg and predicting this year to actually be decently okay, small increases here and there. But that's one part optimism and one part trying to get investors more comfortable investing again.
I personally think it's going to be fairly sideways but will decrease if the Russia/Ukraine war escalates and spills into neighbouring countries. Of course covid...

My advice to you personally is that it's not a side project if you lost your job. It's what could end up putting food on the table.
A side project is something you do here and there when you can carve out a little bit of time, and my advice to people in that position is to have fun with it and remember why you're building because timelines become stretched as you won't have the motivation for...

Coffee. Was historically not a coffee drinker but I got an aeropress for my partner and ended up being the main one using it. Has taken me down a dark and delicious path.
What’s your go-to WFH beverage? Do you prefer coffee? Tea? or anything else?

More so than here. I might be saying something sacrilegious but I prefer the community there as opposed to PH.
I do have my issues with IH of course. I think that the demographic skewed towards beginner, but that's largely a result of it having a large user base.

"Recent" I guess, it was March of this year. And no, no regrets.
I'm lucky that I have enough savings to allow me to travel around, but I understand that that's a privileged position. However, being able to dedicate myself fully to my business has been invaluable and development has increased 100 fold, easily.
Has anyone here recently quit their job and become self employed? Any regrets?

My stock algorithm averaged 9.17% per day last month and I think I've finally learned how to Twitter
On the company side, September was absolutely incredible. feetr.io had 21 stock picks, averaging 9.17% increase. It also added 3 new stocks to the top 10, with HKD managing 54% in a day.
The algorithm is still somehow still performing while the sky/market is falling, which was a huge fear of mine.
On top of that, that was my second month on Twitter, and I think I've finally found ways to get...

Reddit is always good. It depends on what tools you're looking for but people like to advertise things that they've created. I get a lot of new packages (and inspiration) from places like r/Emacs and r/Programming. Hacker News to a lesser extent.
I also like to watch people code/work on YouTube and see how they approach coding, it's fun to see how peoples minds work.

NFTs will only succeed when the main selling point of them is not that they are NFTs.
These have a genuine purpose and use, and is bringing this kind of tech to the masses and that will (hopefully) help enable further adoption.
The benefit of Web3 and crypto in general is not that we can get in early enough to get rich, but that it opens more avenues for connection and private interaction...

The absolute best thing is that you get to keep the profit of your labour. You aren't giving away the lions share to the people above you, and this means that you're hard work pays off.
The flip side of that is, of course, not every business is successful and you are not guaranteed a pay cheque.

They wouldn't get a higher valuation based on their current or projected performance. It was an inflated price as Adobe were mostly interested in killing a competitor.
It was a Scrooge McDuckian offer and they should've taken it. It's awful for people who used it and for the project going forward but you'd have done the same thing. We all would have.

Perfection is achieved, not when there is no more to add, but when there is no more to take away.

It depends on what your product is, what your goals for the product are, and what your users would want. Anything else is superfluous. And I get the appeal of more features = better. Self restraint and a clear idea of what you're building are, to me, the best approach to...

I initially went to the website and noticed that there wasn't a lot of information regarding the product, then I checked the PH page and there was a lot more. I think that it would be beneficial to have more (or at least the same) information on the website as that's where most people will land. Also, the website is beautiful, you done a great job. (backend developer so take that for what it's...

I think that it'll heavily depend on your target audience. Mine is very Twitter savvy, so it has really helped me. If you're say, a fashion retailer, Instagram/TikTok would be a better shout.

We're over-evolved monkeys, it's inherently toxic to us. It's the entire planets stream of consciousness directed at our eyeballs.
We should be out catching fish but instead we're watching, in real time, every single slight against every single person that _the algorithm_ decides we should care about.

Small typo on the homepage:
"Once your up to speed, start trading, earning tips, and getting advice from our analysts!"
It should be "you're", as it's a contraction of "you" and "are".
Website does break a lot for me. It's also fairly slow and has trouble connecting. Firefox 103.0, UK based internet, 300mbps down. Tried with Chrome and get the same issues.

One thing to note is that Wordle doesn't actually have a backend. It's just HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
However, I'd recommend using any language that you're familiar with or that you want to learn. There is no stack that is better suited for Wordle clones.
I'd use Caddy, Common Lisp, and Hunchentoot. You will probably use something else.

To me, it's having time.
Money gets you the ability to travel quickly, to go to the front of the line, to have things brought to you, all at a moments notice.
Money also gives you a stress-free life (if you want one) and access to the best chefs, restaurants, doctors, and trainers that money can buy. You'll be able to maximise your lifespan.
