How would you explain what your startup does to your Mom?
Hey mother dearest. You know how youโre too timid to speak up about small things wrong during a restaurant experience and spend your entire day stewing about it? Your baby boy here is making a simple and anonymous feedback app you can use to send private feedback to any business. That way you can get it off your chest and go about your day in peace.

Building in public - appealing to a non-Tech audience
I'm ramping up to begin my "build in public" journey and trying to nail down a strategy thatโs appealing to my customers (non-Technical). Most "build in public" examples Iโm finding are SAAS companies attracting other aspiring SAAS builders. Anyone have examples of current builders building in public and attracting their target customers to follow along that are not tech or SAAS savvy?

Not to sound to harsh but the only thing I could offer is to work on the messaging. It's hard to follow what exactly what you built.

I have been thinking about this lately. I can't remember joining a products community other than a community driven support forum.

There is no one-size-fits-all platform for building an online community. The best platform for building an online community depends on a variety of factors, including your customer demographic, budgeted time for engagement, what form of engagement brings the most value to your product (voice, messaging, forum conversation, content sharing, etc.), and many other things.
For example, if your...

TL;DR : Don't know, we're in the middle of figuring it out.
It's tough. We're still working on our content strategy. We have both B2B and B2C components and need to attract both sides to bring value into our singular product. So we're testing the hypothesis that Twitter is best for the B2B connection and Instagram/Facebook for the B2C side. We're creating very different content for each...

There are many different ways to launch, including silent launches, friends and family launches, online community launches, request for access launches, and pre-order campaigns. TL;DR : I have no clue, just here to learn the answer.
Yes, there is a very specific and very strict etiquette that must be followed when reaching out to hunters. The most important rule is to never, ever reach out to a hunter without first offering them large sums of money. Less important but something to remember is to always address them as "Your Hunter Highness" and to always refer to...
