π Hey Product Hunters!
My name is Alex and I am super excited to share Truffle with you today!
Truffle aims to solve a pain point that many of us who live our lives on Slack have experienced before: many questions are asked that could have been answered by performing a search.
Working at a large company I saw this pain point come up time and again, and so I built Truffle, a Slack app that...

Do you search before asking a question in Slack?
I'm curious to find out what your go-to approach is to finding answers to questions in Slack. Do you search first, every time? Sometimes? Or do you find a "questions" channel and shoot your question in there?
Also, if you're someone who _answers_ questions, what are you doing to help people use Slack better?

Very interesting! The conventional wisdom seems to be that Tuesday is the best launch day, but really Wednesday and Thursday are super close behind. No sleep indeed π

Definitely Miro! Amazing for organizing your thoughts, brainstorming, holding group discussions. I honestly think it's better than doing the same work in-person. Definitely something that will stick after the pandemic winds down.

Honestly, the generic nature of the chatbot is annoying. They should be more purpose-built, because I don't think the AI is really good enough yet for a generic solution that replaces a human.

What do you hate most about Slack?
For years, and especially since the pandemic started, we've been basically living on Slack. What are the worst things about working on Slack for you, and how have you gotten around them?
I created Truffle.bot to get around my least favorite thing: answering the same questions over and over.

Really awesome concept, I love the idea! However, I downloaded the iOS app and did not see anything as you showcased in the initial screenshots, it just kind of looks like a basic flight search app. I did not see any of the search features mentioned, and I was also not able to see them on the website. I'm very much interested in the service! Keep it up!

I just want to say that I am already a huge fan of this iOS app. My wife and I bought an apartment recently, it's a large project getting renovated, and we have all the floor plans and all the details about the place. I just downloaded this a week ago and I've already created a precise 3D model of our new place with this app, and it's just so awesome! It takes all the guesswork about where we...

Hey PH-ers,
I am in π with emojis! My favorite flavor of emojis are definitely the ones Apple has put so much time and effort into making, but I find that they aren't universally supported, or their meaning can be lost or distorted by some other platform's emoji are expressed. This is why I created Emoji Extractor+, after putting too many emojis in a Powerpoint or Google Slides presentation,...
