Ok, this is really cool! Seems like there are 2 approaches for this: Train an AI to think like me and know the my context. Let AI call and speak to the city hall. Real time translation. I listen and speak in English. The city hall employee listens and speaks in German. Seems like you are using approach 1? Mind elaborating on why you believe that's the best path at the moment?

Clear value prop + minute and a half feels like the right length. As you very well know, emails are a special type of hell due to rendering and sending quirks. Who is your target audience? Is it Users who are thinking about starting their first email campaign? Users who are pretty knowledgable about email campaigns and want better tools? If it's the first category, you should spend 15-30...

35 years for a consumer software product is effectively eternity. It would be pretty amazing to see a per-year absolute user numbers as well as market penetration numbers for @Adobe Photoshop. When did photoshop peak? Was this correlated with riding some other software or hardware trend?

This is such a cool feature request! I am just starting to play around with memories and definitely want to bootstrap off of @lagap's settings (since we are part of the same team). Seems like these should be part of .vscode (or .windsurf!) settings?
Memories are cool, memories with friends would be even cooler

What acquisition stories do you look to emulate? Feels like 95% of acquisitions end up failing. Acquired products get shut down, the team fails to integrate meaningfully into the acquirer leading to stagnation, or the acquirer tries to force an incompatible vision on the acquired product (resulting in the product totally falling apart). What stories inspire you? @Instagram + @WhatsApp? @Slack?

@thedanigrant So stoked to have you in the AMA! Could you reveal the top 3 AI-related tools the engineering team uses at @Jam other than the incredible Jam AI? For us at PH, the first tool that come to mind are @Windsurf + @Cursor for code craft, @BAML for DevEx, and a lot of @Claude by Anthropic + @ChatGPT by OpenAI for general prompting.

@amir_ashkenazi Thank you for hosting the AMA! How do you think about the web automation via AI race right now? Airtop, OpenAI Operator, and Claude Computer Use are the products that come to mind. How would you break down the space and what's your prediction on how the race will shake out.

Why should I use PostHog?
While visiting SF recently, I saw @PostHog ads everywhere. Most analytics platforms (like Posthog, @Amplitude, @Mixpanel) seem to have pretty much the same feature sets. So let's get real. What is are the real advantages of Posthog versus others like Amplitude? Nicer/easier to use? Or something deeper than that? A little story: At Product Hunt, we used @Asana. I knew about @Linear. But I didn't...

Why is Cursor so much more popular than Windsurf?
My editor journey has been:
1. Tried out Github copilot in VS Code. Loved it.
2. Then tried out @Cursor after @bernatfortet kept talking about it. Immediately switch to Cursor.
3. Then tried out @Windsurf after @lagap discovered it. Immediately fell in love and switched. Anecdotally, everyone is talking about Cursor. And no one is really talking about Windsurf. On Product Hunt, Cursor has 845...

@pascalpixel Congrats on winning Maker of the Year! Curious, have you encountered any popular developer tools that you consider a dead-end? As in, they seemed super promising, you tried them, and then decided they weren't for you.

Congrats on the launch, @adi_patel! Love the loom demo. Would love to hear a concrete example of how a (hypothetical) team operates at the moment and where Lancey gives that team a big advantage. Also, what's the sweetspot teamsize where Lancey is really helpful?
