What will your app give us that we don't have already?
I definitely think that there is room for a new and better one. The current websites all feel ... messy (lacking a better term here).
Who thinks we need a proper Travel App?

I have always been a cautious type of person. My parents have told me that when I was 3 years old, while my best friend at the time would climb up a tree without a second thought, I'd always make sure that I knew how to get down before following her.
All this to say, I know that it's part of who I am and it's something I've always actively wanted to push myself on. Because I want to make sure...

We just launched today!! So exciting!!
It's called Modyfi (for some reason PH won't let me post the link??)
Make your own graphic design with awesome effects and motion/animation and see everything in realtime as you are making it.
Check out those example videos in the link!!
Have you already launched your product on Product Hunt?

It does.

However, this latest major launch is actually centered around a lot of non-AI amazingness! TL; DR - Modyfi is graphic design software that is both easy for beginners and powerful for experts to create some pretty stunning stuff. This last release includes motion/animation of your graphics and it is so much fun to play with.
That part is not AI...
Does your tool have an AI feature?

Do you mean individual jobs or more like the total amount of jobs?
Individual jobs: Maybe.
If you happen to be very talented at a skill that AI makes available to everyone and selling your services is how you make a living, then yes. In the 50's "computer" was a job title. That particular job doesn't exist anymore because the electronic version made them obsolete.
This is a really hard problem...
Can AI lead to job loss? Your opinion?

This is a contentious question and it's so easy to be afraid. I suppose my first question is what exactly you might be afraid of. Because there are so many different things that could be scary. The technology is moving very fast at the moment and all change is scary. Especially if you don't understand the technology.
Are you worried that AI will become sentient and take over the world? Because...
Iām afraid!

Honestly, keeping up! I work with stable diffusion and image generation and that field is moving so fast it's hard not to get stressed out.
If you want to contribute to the field, it either takes a lot of hardware, time, and blood, sweat and tears, or someone else is likely to beat you to it. Sometimes both.
Developers, what challenges do you face in your current AI app development process?

My nerdy answer is that it pretty much comes down to Amdahl's law for parallel computing :)
Teaming up comes with a lot of overhead in terms of coordination and structuring the work, but you can also potentially get so much more done if you do it right.
Working on your own is a lot easier if you don't really know where you are going with your idea yet.
Solo or teaming up for a side project? š¤

On the one hand, context switching is draining, on the other hand, switching to another task can serve as a break, which can be helpful. So I guess it all comes down to balance. That being said, I am way too easily distracted to actually balance it :p
