We have used the Coming Soon feature for both of our past two launches — I think it’s great for visibility and love the “launching soon” banner that gets attached to your profile!

I think a lot of makers take an intensified interest in Product Hunt when they’re launching but I rely on the digest and checking in as often as I can to keep an eye on trends and I’m always on the lookout for interesting new products. I’ve also connected with some great people here!

It's funny because I have been the recipient of many cold outreach messages and sometimes they hit at the right time (and I'm genuinely interested in the product they're building) and sometimes not (just busy, feels awkward). I'm hesitant to do the cold outreach myself because of this!

Slack notifications can be a distraction but our work culture helps – we know that a Slack message, unless urgent, doesn't require an immediate response. I worry more that I'm interrupting others when I ping them – would love an ambient way of understanding what they're doing atm, in the moment.
