Strut, the all-in-one AI writing workspace is live!
We’ve been building Strut since early summer, after pivoting from Ready Calendar.
It’s been a truly wild time, learning quickly about AI, creating a first version, discovering who our product was resonating with, iterating constantly based on feedback, and now finally launching on Product Hunt!
It’s a huge milestone for us. Excited to have more people trying out Strut and sharing their...

This makes getting started on sponsorships so much more approachable. We know how important working with content creators is but its such a leap to get started, this changes that. Excited to use the discovery tool!

Accept that it takes time to find the right people, which means investing earlier in the process of finding talent. Write up great job descriptions, get them posted, but start searching for people immediately, don't sit back and wait.
Keep the momentum going, if you know you're going to hire another role in 6 months, don't wait 6 months to start the process.
You just raised your seed round. What should be your main priority for the next 3 months?

Mailchimp enters the no code website arena. It looks similar to their email builder so should be easy for people jumping between email to a website.

I think the bar has certainly raised. I'd look into the Kano model and see where your product fits, it could give some insight into where you're investing your time. The concept of an MLP, or Minimum Lovable Product, might also help you—it looks at what's the minimum expectations of your product to make your users love it.
Do you think the era of scrappy startups is over?

Personally would be easier but professionally I feel would be really limiting growth. If your audience is on instagram or facebook, you're giving up potential followers/users/spokespeople for your brand—especially if you're just starting out.

Some insights I put together to help freelancers with their business. I wanted to touch on topics that others avoid, like the actual struggles of being alone while freelancing. Hopefully, there are some tidbits that help make a freelancer's life easier.

Think of free access as an acquisition cost, its not free to you. If the cost of offering it for free is greater than you're willing to spend to acquire the audience you're building, then its time to reconsider.
How long should our Product Hunt/Early Access offer last?

I design my week to suit myself and my work. Since building my own thing alongside a mix of freelancing, I don't think of weekends the same as I used to. It's more about maintaining progress and my happiness. If I need a break, then I take a break. If I want to work every day, I do that. So there isn't really a weekend as much anymore, its more about giving myself the time I need to feel good...
Do you use the weekend to relax or do you use it to focus on personal projects?

This looks driven by real user needs, understanding how instagram is actually used by people.
Its really interesting from Instagram's side what types of integrations they decide to make available. On one side it would be nice to automatically publish the stories, but as a consumer I appreciate that it's actually more difficult to automate.
