I map out the ideal user journey that leads the user through the key activation milestones. I try to segment this by the ICP and percieved usercase so that each user is not treated as a one size fits all. I set up behavioural triggers (in app, emails etc), to nudge or 'cheer'. I also where possible make it as self service as possible, so have multiple different resources in different ways so...

Like someone mentioned already having a strategy. I'd add, having a strategy that is developed specifically for your product and ICP and price point. All these factors should affect your strategy so there is no 'one' way that can be applied to everything but a tool kit that you can apply depending on your market.

Would depend on age and goals. If your goals are more financial and there is a short amount of time to reach them, you may need to. If you goal is to be fulfilled and you have some level of comfort then you may get to choose the lower paying one. Having a fulfilled life outside of work, with hobbies where you can be fulfilled will also go a long way.

It has allowed me to reduce procrastination when it comes to ideas or repetitive tasks. Even if the ideas it gives me are bad, it enables me to brainstorm off that and do better.

I think the habbit of taking a pause (even just a day off) and evaluating how you currently feel, are you neglecting an area of your life without knowing it? You can set yourself boundaires and goals but the balance is constantly shifting and your life constantly moving so what works for you one year, may feel different the next so taking set pauses every so often I think helps to just sit with...

Personalisation by segmentation, and offering the choice of onboarding so people can choose. Cut friction to the minimum. Tracking behaviours and responding / adjusting to patterns.

I like the variety, one-moment writing content, the next strategising sales and the next implement tracking tools. My days are rarely the same.

It's hard to have a lazy morning with a 3-year-old, but either toast with peanut butter and marmite, or toast (the more pretentious the bread the better) with avocado and marmite washed down with a decent cup of coffee or if out a Bloody Mary

I think it depends on the person and the situation. There are certain tasks that require some kind of steady concentration and others less so. There are other people who love multi-tasking (me) and others for who is completely outside of their comfort zone and causes unnecessary stress. Early stage start-ups require a lot of multi-tasking and I guess the key is to try and manage with who, for...

I agree with everything posted and I would also add I think its important to create occasions where people who have no work processes together, and therefore may not be in the same meetings, have touch points to connect and understand what they are working on.

Maybe not answering your question entirely but having action/trigger-based emails during the trial opposed to just time-based emails can make a huge difference.

I guess we all have to accept that there are days when we are on fire and then there are other days when maybe due to outside factors, health / personal life its not as easy. Be kind to yourself / others that you notice may be having an off day, and do something that makes you happy, if you can, sport, a walk in nature, some music and know tomorrow is another day.

I can concentrate better at home but I have been wfh for over 10 years. If I go into an office I feel like I'm uncomfortable, and , constantly distracted by noise and other people. I also feel like I get pushed into other people's routines such as fixed break times and lunchtime.
Are you more easily distracted in the office or at home? or do you think it does not play a factor?

For me it's that no 2 days are the same. You don't just feel like you are a cog in the wheel and you get to see the results of your hard work pretty quickly. Also that you don't get trapped in a box, in early stage start-ups its all hands on deck.
