A lot of the things I've built (both no-code and vibe coding) have come from just needing something and not finding the right solution or an overly priced one. It's amazing how much you can do with Airtable or an excel sheet and some tools like @Softr. Now with things like @Cursor, @bolt.new, and @Lovable you can almost prompt what you need into existence. If it weren't for the 3 mentioned...

INSTANT INSTALL. I have been waiting for this since you teased it on X, @marcelpociot! Already have had my doggo on my Mac non stop. Can we collab to get a PH kitty version 🥺 Seriously though, nicely done. This is so fun and like what the internet (and computers) need more of. Congrats on the launch!

New ChatGPT Image Generation is INSANE. What have you created?
Okay, so I know everyone's feed has been taken over by the Studio Ghibli but I'm curious what else people have been able to create or seen that's really left an impression. Here are some that I've created! Also on X.

This seems super powerful and like a great Loom competitor. I just tried it out and going to add it to my tech stack for a bit to see if it earns a permanent place. I'm also a bit biased but a sucker for the ツ being used. Is there a particular story there @okuiux? A couple more questions:Is there a video limit?Does it have some zoom or mouse tracking features like @Screen Studio or @Tella...

I decide what's featured on the leaderboard - AMA w/ Gabe from Product Hunt
Hi everyone, Gabe here! I lead curating Product Hunt's leaderboard.First thing I will say is that if I could feature every single product that works, I would. I love supporting makers and demoing products. I actually try to test every single thing that gets hunted every day... which is A TON. But I view our job as to surface the most interesting, novel, useful, and innovative products - daily....

That's a really interesting thought, I haven't considered a new programming language for interacting with AI. Maybe on a similar thread I think we're going to see a new way folks interact with their devices, including development work. We had to modify how we think about questions for Google, and now we're going to have a new way to input queries or request into @Perplexity, @Cursor, @Windsurf,...

15min later.... this was way more fun than I care to admit. I probably looked like a maniac tapping random combos of HJKL at different beats. Triplets were really fun. Awesome job @adam_b_long!

I was actually trying to find an easy way to integrate payments and was looking at @RevenueCat but then y'all launched... WITH REVENUECAT SUPPORT. This looks super clean, user friendly, and I appreciate the pricing structure. Going to try to build this into my apps and excited to see how it comes out! THANK YOU FOR TEMPLATES. Awesome job @jakemor + team.

If it's just me - I like a notebook, voice recorder, and ChatGPT. This allows me to scribble, capture, and turn the whole brainstorm into a summary and actionable immediately. If it's with a Team, I'd say whatever most folks will revist or be able to feel the most comfortable. I've often found Miro works pretty well or alternatively, just a blank word document (or Notion) often is a great place...

I really wish @bolt.new was able to connect to @GitHub. I'd love to be able to save my projects on a repo there. Other features are the ability to be able to choose a different database like Firebase when I don't want to use Supabase.

Going against the grain here but I'm a huge fan of @SavvyCal and was a paying customer for a while. I made the switch to @Cal.com when they supported Web3/Blockchain interactions and I really like that it's open-source, free, and has a ton of integrations. I think it really depends what you're going for, my favorite feature of SavvyCal was the calendar overlay, I could sync all my calendars and...

I honestly can't pick. I've found myself go back and forth with both. To be honest, once I get a general idea from bolt or lovable I put it on my GitHub and end up using @Cursor to complete, replicate, or finish building.I think I'm a Cursor addict at this point.

I actually really like this. I often find myself trying to time "how I feel" to "what I should do" and that includes running in the middle of the day, or doing crazy creative work at night. The idea of tying your calendar and activities based on your actual health data makes sense to optimize performance. Awesome idea and congrats on the launch @nao_yukawa + team!

Personally feel that the way people break into development will change and the expectations of developers will change.People will now be able to learn alongside AI tools and discover a new passion for dev work this way vs starting with codecademy, tutorials, or docsDevs (junior and above) will become expected to learn how to utilize these tools and show their ability to effectively use them to...

Does it matter if your app was purely "vibe coded" for acquisitions?
I've been having a lot of fun exploring AI and using tools like @Cursor, @bolt.new, @Lovable, and @Warp to learn how to build and make some apps for myself! I'm also noticing a tremendous amount of growth in folks creating their own apps using these same tools which has me wondering... if a company wanted to acquire someone's app or tool that was built via vibe coding, would it matter how it...

There's a really special moment for a consumer when they touch a piece of tech and it feels like magic. Bolt definitely felt like that. When building and releasing Bolt, did you and the team feel like you just made something magical? How did the product iteration change to get it to the first release point to where the user's experience just hit.
