The unwritten rule is weekly. I've done email marketing bi-weekly for a brand. Their newsletter had a 40% average open rate. Another one I did monthly had a 60% average open rate(it was a highly personalized newsletter).

Nothing beats content, write blog posts. At first aim for 500 to 1500 words or more in which you add real value to readers(please don't use AI, everyone can relate to genuine human written content, maybe for drafts, but no AI).
