Hey PH community 👋
I’m Dan Co-founder & Product Owner of Aimful. We are excited with the whole team (shoutout to @veronika_gabrielova @honzakral @jiri_janousek) to announce launch of Aimful.io for Google Calendar
❓Why are we building Aimful
Calendar apps haven't evolved for decades. Especially the meeting invites. All recent innovations are about keyboard shortcuts + smart scheduling +...

— ask the host to specify why you are needed
— ask invitees to confirm in advance that they come prepared
— collect topics before each recurring meeting

What automations (If→then) would you want for your meetings?
We’ve just built as a side project a Google Calendar add-on that automates few basic workflows like:
— Alert me if [invitee X] didn’t accept the invite
— Ask for topics prior to a recurring meeting, every time
— Ask the host how you are supposed to contribute
👉 Try it at https://aimful.io/ and give your feedback 🙏 (on the product itself and initial idea as well).
Are there any other workflows...

I’m often finding huge difference between what people say and how they really behave. I’m talking here typically about user research & feedback. For example when user explains how he use specific feature and then we found out from application data that he didn’t use the feature at all. Outputs from user interviews and “hard” analytics data are two different worlds.
From my findings people...

depends on the purpose ... I love remote but it's great to meet in person if you want to start a real relationship for example. Having a chance to choose is the best 😉
Do you prefer remote, hybrid or in-person?

To understand the real user problems and needs so I can build working solution for them. The difference between what people say and how they later behave is often surprising.

Do you have a problem with bad meetings? Honestly?!
At Aimful.io we are solving problems of bad meetings. You can hear all around … there’re too many meetings, it’s waste of time, it’s boring, there are no clear action steps at the end … and many more.
But honestly - do you really need to change anything about your meetings? Isn’t the current status quo OK?
We are often surprised how big is the difference about what people say and how is the...
