I'm biased of course, but am super excited to see this in the world!!! Phil and I went through SO MUCH learning (and mistakes) to build RGB and Radish. If someone is even considering starting community/co-housing/buying a house with friends, this should dramatically improve chances of success. This is not just about living the dream - it's about how to build the dream. :)

Hi there - Kristen here. Dan Ariely, @behaviorly and @jhreha wrote these bits in hopes we can take the key insights and studies from behavioral sciences and provide simplified lessons targeted directly for product people. As always we hope you use these insights for good. :)

Dress in all blue or grey. (Ladies: Body suit from American Apparel). Then, glue cotton balls all over you. At the moment someone asks you what you are, pull out a spray bottle from behind your back. Shout: "90% chance of rain." Proceed to spray water in their face. While you could run away, the recommended approach is to buy your new friend a drink. Or, even better, have a second spray bottle...

@gediminas I'm struggling with using. e.g. goals are not just finance goals, where does advice go? Is finance app an actual manual budget? Generally, self tracking as an approach to change is not shown to be the most effective method. It is usually very difficult for most to do continuously and then people feel like failures :) Hope to see additional commitment, accountability interventions pop...

I love the concept of adding variety to life and intersecting people new people. However the first use experience here is an example of a growing but disheartening principle: Products ask you to recommend them to friends before you have found any value from the application. I have 4 notifications which ask me to put my name against the app to my friends. Using the idea of reciprocity is fine...

Love this! It helps workers appreciate their effort (vs just track time) and others acknowledge them for their work. (Daniel Pink style) If everyone used this to track time, we may all be more motivated and happy. Thumbs up @tadmilbourn

hey hey - quick BE weigh in. It's an interesting question if we should make people feel good or bad right away. The BIT (british institute) reframed their employment test to give great scores (vs terrible ones) and more people apply for a job. So, 1) does telling me that I am not doing well on behaviors a good thing? My score was 35 which I think is terrible. and 2) how does knowing this (which...
