Very cool, very useful, one annoying thing though -- please please don't tell me how strong my password should be. This is not a bank app, this is a burner page, nobody's gonna bruteforce my account, I'm pretty sure about that. Just let me use my Google account for logging in.
Please?

I need to enter one or two mp3s, stolen from YouTube, into our system to test-drive "English for startups", a possible feature for our language learning startup. And I need to recheck the timings for 10 other texts so that I could cut them into pieces and send to my friend in S.Korea who'll feed it into his Text To Speech system that would supposedly make it speak Lithuanian.
Plus, I have to...

I don't use Notion as a productivity tool, it might sound funny but I'm using it for what it was build for -- notes. My #1 productivity tool is Todoist, I just can't live without it. My #2 tool is PomoDone, having regular breaks keeps me sane.
If you must keep only one productivity tool, which one and why?

Yeah, fuck paywalls. Fuck the dying news industry that can't survive on displaying ads anymore and struggles to pay journalists. Fuck the creators who are trying to sell their content. We are C00L H4CK3RZ, we never pay.

With my next product I'll do the opposite that @robinkunz suggested: I'll ask the users what exactly they need, then show them the prototype. By the time I have a barely working product, I'll already have a few customers willing to pay me.
What's your master plan to get your first paying user on your current project ?

Who's taking a nap during the day?
I know I have to take a nap whenever spending half an hour doomscrolling on Twitter feels like a good idea. But the best results I get from napping after having a cup of coffee. By the time caffeine kicks in, I've already had a deep 15min sleep, so I wake up in a much better form than in the morning.

I should have hired a mentor who would force me to think more clearly about our startup and hold me accountable. Or join a preacceleration program. I think we would grow much faster.

Depends on what you mean by "develop an API". In most cases you need an API for your backend code. Or you just use someone else's API. How do you "develop API with no code"? Can you give me an example?

Using TODOist for everything from work to groceries to movies to watch and books to buy. I'm using a paid plan for this. Syncs with Google Calendar nicely.

As early as possible. In an ideal world, you choose your target audience even before you have an idea, because you move in this sequence: audience -> problem -> your solution -> product. And knowing your audience includes knowing how/where you can reach them. It's not a strategy maybe, but it should be a clear idea -- cold calls, TV ads, PH launch, etc.

1. I think nobody will give you the money without you explaining what you will do with them. So you have to have a plan long before that pile of cash.
2. I assume it's smart money, so there are some mentors/advisors as well. Advisors bring connections, connections can help with hiring.
That said, I would definitely hire a person as a contractor for a month or two first so that I can be pretty...

Are there any tools for better stock image/video search?
When you want to insert an image or a video in your post, do you open several different tabs with stock images and spend some time searching for the best one, then download it, then switch back to your post and upload it? I can easily kill an hour looking for a perfect one.
Is there an easier alternative?

The worst part used to be when you are in a middle of debugging a severe bug on the production server and your boss is messaging you every 5 minutes asking "any luck?" Took me a few years to train myself to stay calm and just.ignorehim until I'm finished (or at least made a good progress and ready to switch the context).

It's always about lack of time. As we are working on our daytime jobs, we just can't put enough effort into our startup. As a result, it doesn't bring enough revenue, which stops us from leaving our daytime jobs.

Nothing much changed for me personally because I always worked from home. But I saw two great things that happened in our city last year. First, they made a real beach (well, almost real, there was no sea) right in the center of the city. They said that since people couldn't go to real beaches, at least let them enjoy the sand and the sun here in the city. Second, they alllowed all cafes to...
