I think that it's possible after you've reached a certain level. Not from the beginning (although I'm sure that such cases also exist).
Take freelancing, for example. At the start, you have to work hard for a low rate and take all of the projects that come your way, because you need to gain skills and earn a good reputation.
After a while, when you've reached a high level of expertise, you can...

We collaborate with designers. Surely, it may not be cheap and can take longer, because you have to work with a designer on an image, but it makes content so much more enjoyable and interesting. My eyes are tired of seeing the same type of generic images - people in suits around the table/computer/whiteboard/etc.
Also, freelance designers' rates are so broad, that I think that almost anyone can...

It's an effective strategy when done right! However, a business should pick an influencer in their niche and someone who is reliable and is deemed trustworthy by their audience. Look whether that influencer has a tendency to promote shady and scammy products.
Don't just look at the numbers. Some smaller influencer's ads can work better than of someone with a million subscribers who is...

By contacting hunters and asking them if they would be interested. Fabian's link is going to help you pick people from a relevant industry.
However, a popular hunter isn't a guarantee of success, unfortunately

I mostly prefer light mode, especially for tools that I use on the job. I think that this happened because I tried out dark modes on a few of the tools and it wasn't as nice/clear, as the light theme. Hence, I haven't tried to switch after that.
I do enjoy the dark modes on Google and YouTube, don't even remember the last time I saw them in light :)

Did you only try cold emailing with invitations to interviews? I think that some people may not comfortable with interviews. Maybe it's better to create a feedback form where you can ask your questions and leave slots for any other comments and suggestions that users might have.
Also, you can try contacting users in your app, for instance by creating a pop-up with a link to the form and an...

For me, paid sick leaves and a good number of vacation days are must-haves. I also appreciate it when companies offer to pay for learning courses related to the job!

Interesting discussion! I haven't encountered ageism in my past and current workplaces, because I've had lots of older colleagues who were just starting out on a new career path.
I don't have a specific answer to how technology could help. However, I do have some general observations about recruitment.
When I was living in Warsaw, one of my university classmates was a recruiter at a large...

I speak 4 languages.
I started by learning grammar, rules, pronunciation, etc. One of my favorite professors also taught me how to start actually thinking in another language (not just translating words to my native one in my head). He recommended to stop translating words when you can, but look up the definition in the target language instead. This really helped and I still do it.
Once I...

If they're good then I would pay a one-time fee for sure. If they are good and the database will keep expanding with other great examples, then a monthly fee makes sense also.
But if they're generic (such as check out, grab, get it free, etc.), then probably not since there are tons of articles providing those types of CTAs for free (like Hubspot for instance)

3 years ago I thought of myself as more of a night owl, 2 years later, I thought that I'm a morning person.
Now I understand that I'm probably more like a stressed pigeonπ
So thanks for including the option "it depends"!

Working from office is so much better for me. We have a hybrid system at work where you can stay home or go to the office. Everybody chooses what works better for them.
I stayed home many times, due to the weather, or had a repair person coming, etc. And I noticed that my productivity is not as good compared to when I go to the office. Often I would get distracted and had to compensate by...

How effective are LinkedIn ads for B2B?
Hi! Once in a while, LinkedIn gives me a prompt to boost a post. At first, I wasn't interested, but recently I've been noticing that other B2B companies have started running ads more actively.
I'm interested in hearing your experiences, because I didn't find any case studies or actual results posted (maybe a few articles about saying how this is a great tool, but without proof).
Please,...

It is probably the first story like that that I've seen on PH! And I loooove the way you wrote it:)
So cool and brave of you to share this story! I feel awful when my idea doesn't go the way I expect, so hearing stories from makers sharing their journeys is inspirational. And I believe that your insights are going to be truly valuable to other startupers
