ZBD Bots – Bitcoin magic for communities

👋 Hi Product Hunters, I am André, CTO and co-founder of ZEBEDEE. This is our first time here, so a big shoutout to @ziggamon for hunting us 💜 The background story 💬 Communities are a huge part of gaming. Every gamer knows that’s where you find: ✅the best tips & tricks for playing games ✅like-minded people to chat and play with ✅get the latest updates about the game It’s all about the community 🎊 But not every community is a nice (read: active and non-toxic) place to hang out. So for us at ZEBEDEE, it felt natural to create a tool to help admins and mods level up their communities the best way we know how: with Bitcoin. The solution 💡 We decided to bring the beauty of Bitcoin to Discord and Telegram. Why? Because that’s where most active gamer communities live today. And because we’ve already seen how even tiny units of Bitcoin, called sats, have massive power to influence people’s behavior in a positive way, if used right. And also… because we could. With the help of a super simple interface and the Bitcoin Lightning Network, ZBD Bots are a showcase of how money should flow online. It’s all instant, free and happening right there where you’re already hanging out – in Discord or Telegram chats. 👉 What makes community admins excited about ZBD Bots: Completely free-to-use and simple to install & get started Super easy to run micro-competitions like meme posting challenges Instant micro-rewards with real value are tons better than just a thumbs up 👍 Here is an example of using a simple one-line command to “rain” some sats on the latest active users in the Discord channel. The amount of sats and the number of receivers are adjustable. Members instantly receive money even if they haven’t paired a wallet yet. Seems expensive to rain money on people? Not really, since 1000 sats is just over $0.2. Amazing, we are live! 🎉 I am very proud to be part of this project, and I'd like to congratulate the team on such a neat product and incredible campaign 👏 The Lightning Network gives us unlimited possibilities to simplify online payments in gaming and all corners of the world. ZBD Bots are a great example of a goal we're aiming to achieve. The most beautiful thing is to see them in action! Here is just another badass example of how easy it is to send Bitcoin to another Lightning address. We say it's as easy as sending a text message: All things in life should be that simple! Especially those that are usually hard. Because, let’s face it, gamers on Discord servers aren’t always nice. And asking them to behave doesn’t really work, but incentivizing positive engagement with a few sats sure does!

Great job guys 🙌 You really outdid yourselves polishing up the product and this campaign! I'm sure other Product Hunters will also recognize ZBD Bots as an essential tool they need for a simplified life 😂 As a game developer, the community always comes to mind when I'm about to launch a new game. I’m always concerned about getting those first loyal users and how to connect with players and get their feedback… Discord has always been my go-to answer, but it wasn’t always easy to get people to help me out. With ZBD Bots, it’s super easy 💪 You may say I am a bit subjective as I'm a co-founder of ZEBEDEE, but if you install ZBD Bots, you'll see how your engagement grows and how the community work becomes enjoyable.
