YoCam alternatives

Honestly surprised that Sony haven't used PH more, I've used their mirrorless A7SIII camera and it has allowed a step change in our company's production process. Mainly thanks to out of camera footage quality being sufficient to bypass needing adjustments (I realise some of that is setting up scenes properly just as much as a nice camera :) ) in post. The only downside would be battery life can be a bit short, but that may be a gripe with any battery powered device.

One of the main reasons for 3 stars is the fact that motion detection doesn't work unless you have a cam subscription. If you do do have a subscription with motion or person detection activated, it no longer announces it on my Amazon echoes. I used to love that feature, you could be anywhere in the house and hear it.
