Hey everyone!
Just a heads up, there is currently a bug that requires you to set the keybind before you can highlight and select the mute word popup.
To set the keybind, open up the extension's panel, and set it in the keybind input.
Once it is set, you can hold the keybind while hovering over the word/phrase you wish to mute and the pop up should show as expected.
I have fixed this to make the keybind optional in the next release. I'm just waiting on Google to approve it.

Hey Cody, this looks like a great tool for managing content overload on X. How granular can you get with muting? For instance, can you mute only specific hashtags or phrases within a post, or does it have to be the entire post? Congrats on the launch!
@chandula I'm glad. It's really nice to use.
The manifest (chrome extension) permissions needed to make this function are: contextMenus, storage, and webRequest.
But, nothing is stored on my side besides whatever is needed for payments which is being managed by a 3rd party. It's entirely client-side.
