It would be great if there was a dropdown for cities, or integration with google calendar. For regional or smaller cities, or similarly named cities, it's hard to know whether i'm looking at the right place.
Having the weather forecast for one or more cities on my calendar is very convenient. At least one major city (San Francisco, CA) doesn't seem to be available.
No way that I can see to remove, and doesn't pick up locations in my country -Australia. Any help as to how to remove, please?
Fabulous calendar app! I was really sad when it nearly disappeared. It would be really helpful if you could add the phases of the moon - as tides matter to coast dwellers which can cause flooding.
Fails outside the US. Especially with cities that have the same name as US cities. Good idea, fatal flaw. E.g. There are 13 cities in the world named Melbourne! Tested with 2 letter codes, etc as per the Open Weather link included in each calendar day. That's how I figured out it was the wrong location.
Years ago I implemented a similar ical service with PHP, but over the years it failed me, as I had no time to maintain it any more. Thanks to this nice little service I can enjoy weather forecasts in my calendar again :-) Sadly as of a few days ago the service started to be offline and/or to not find my city. I just tried it with various austrian cities/locations, and it didn't find anything anymore. :-(
So long time, I was looking for Chrome extension that is connected weather condition into Google calendar. BUT I finally found this service, it's really incredible. If I were to be greedy, I would say that since it is added as a schedule, it feels a little lonely with just the icon, so it would be nice if it included a description of, for example, wind strength or comfort level, but the current version is great enough.
I live in San Francisco and it continues to say it can't find my city. How is that possible? I've tried using different browsers, manually typing the city, adding the state, nothing works. How does this interface deal with multiple cities with the same name? Frustrating.
Great product, however it will not find cities if they have more than one word in their name. I am in Virginia Beach. When I looked at how the code put my city into the url to paste, I experimented with "New York City", "Los Angeles", and "San Diego". All received the "could not find city" result...the only "commonality" is the city title having more than one word. UPDATE: When you enter what city you are looking for, and your city is more than one word, you can't just enter Virginia Beach, for example, it won't find it. But if you enter Virginia+Beach, or San+Diego, it will find it and you can just copy the url and proceed as directed.
