Hi all! As a founder who has navigated the startup world and the challenging funding cycle, I understand the massive pain of identifying and finding the right investors. Inspired by exceptional platforms like OpenVC, public databases, fund matching tools, and drawing from my own experiences founding other startups, I wanted to create something data-driven and highly personalised for founder-investor engagement. Ventur offers a curated database of over 10,000+ investors, including VCs, angel investors, and private equity firms. Our long-term goal is to ensure that Ventur offers real-value to startups by connecting them directly with relevant investors and resources (no cold emails/outreach). While we have a long way to go to fully realise this vision, I’ve utilised the resources and tools that have been invaluable in my startup journey over the years to curate this portal for you as our first step. 🤩 Here’s what Ventur offers: • 🕵️‍♂️ Access to a comprehensive and growing investor database (10,000+) • ✅ Curated essential startup resources • 🚀 Enhanced startup visibility and direct investor intros (Future Roadmap) We’re still in early alpha, and our database and platform are far from perfect. There’s a lot of data to clean and update, and we’re working hard to improve every day. It’s more comprehensive and organised than ever, but it’s a growing process. I genuinely appreciate any feedback you can provide, whether on Product Hunt or through the feedback form on our platform. Expanded Resource Library: We’re currently curating additional startup resources from high-quality sources. Our goal is to provide a more comprehensive collection of essential guides and tools to support your journey. 2. Funding Community: In our initial market research, we explored the concept of building a funding community. Although we decided to hold off on including it in this first release, we’re still evaluating its potential and looking forward to integrating this feature based on further validation and feedback. 3. Enhanced Visibility Features: A significant part of our long-term vision involves creating enhanced visibility tools. We’re developing a robust, data-driven model to help startups get in front of investors without relying on cold emails or traditional outreach methods. Looks nice. But I'm a bit confused about the region at the sign up. Is it where I live or where I look for Investors? In first case I couldn't sign up, because I live in switzerland. Additionally, clicking at the Venture logo at the sign up page, leads you to an empty page.

We’re working on enabling more region-specific support and resources, but it shouldn’t impact your investor search experience just yet. Please try signing up again through the “Rest of Europe” option that I've added, and it should work for you. Also, thank you for reporting the bug with the Ventur logo.
