Loved using my friend's Tonal when I stayed in Maui in November, and would love to get one for the apartment I'm moving into next month... great to see the app continue to evolve and with additional stats and measurements.
@chrismessina have seen how long their delivery times are.:.people who ordered in sept were told 6-8 wks but now the install company is saying February 2021
@george_philip3 omg, wow... that's kind of a good problem to have, except it definitely gives the competition some room to pick up more urgent shoppers!
Exciting product! Going to the gym takes time and is not always the best social experience.
With the pandemic, we realized that you don't always need the standard massive gym equipment. It looks like Tonal can be a substantial addition to any cardio machine to ensure you stay healthy and achieve your fitness objective.
I am looking forward to when you guys make this available in Canada! Good job with your launch :)
It's hard to follow the instructor on the video workout program. If you're doing a stretching or yoga class and need a moment to position yourself on the floor, there's no remote control to pause the workout. You have to get up to touch the screen. I'm so frustrated that I don't use it anymore. All the programs rush through the workout. How is anyone supposed to have good form or thoroughly stretch in a rush? A 15 min workout ends up taking 45 min after pausing the video anyway.
I am blown away by ANY bad reviews on Tonal. These people must never have spent any significant years in a gym. Me..38 years working out in gyms, hardcore and luxury. This product is amazing, and the nitpicking is so ridiculous. Be grateful you could afford it, its conveniently in your home, available to a ton of other users, and does all the stats, music, (yea, get your darn bluetooth hooked, then you can have your own music you want) and SO many different workouts you'd NEVER get in a regular gym. You're all in fantasy land.
"Weak" isn't strong enough of a word to describe the train wreck that is their product support department. I used tonal for about a month when, in the middle of a rep, the left arm started to click like I had pressed the button to rotate it. It then unlocked, with the weight still engaged, and started to swing around. This not only meant I couldn't use it, but potentially left my shoulder in a super dangerous position for a second there.
Called customer support to get a tech out and its been 3 weeks of radio silence. No updates to my case, no calls, emails, nobody reaching out, nothing, despite my attempts to get anyone to tell me whats going on. But they are still charging me the subscription cost!
I absolutely would not recommend this product until they stop hiring third party companies who could not care less about their customers.
