@masump Hey good question. Users currently self-verify with their own documents, links, or asking a referral. Now where we come in two ways:
1. Community Validation: where other users on the platform will stake in tokens to get the opportunity to become a validator. Validators on our platform assess the credibility of a credential given its supporting evidences.
2. For education and experience credentials specifically, our Chainlink oracles reads the credential, scans multiple databases instantaneously, and weighs in on its overall credibility.
We're releasing these two features to the public within the next 2 weeks 🚀
Congrats on the launch! How do you handle the verification process? Looks super interesting!
@arshanahmad Thanks, Arshan! Currently, users self-verify credentials with their own documents, links, or asking a referral. To answer your question, we're soon releasing (within the next 2 weeks) 2 ways to handle the verification:
Community validation where users on the platform can stake in tokens to get the opportunity to become a validator. Validators follow a framework to assess the credential and it's supporting evidences. Either the majority will agree or challenge the validity of the credential.
Third-Party Database Search: For education and work history credentials specifically, we use Chainlink oracles to scan multiple third-party databases instantaneously.
Product looks great, would love to see this integrated with LinkedIn's Skills section at some point (or building out Linked-based certificates like credly)
@karachlyn Yeah either one of two things will happen: we integrate on LinkedIn as an API, or we become a professional networking site ourselves
