Squad is a modern, delightful and end-to-end platform for building, deploying and scaling AI agents. Powered by Chutes, our decentralized serverless compute platform, Squad makes it easy to create an AI agent in a few simple clicks.
From my hands-on time with Squad’s closed beta, I’ve been genuinely impressed: the platform is already solid and truly modular, with several ready-made agents that solve common tasks out of the box, and the drag-and-drop canvas let me remix them or create new ones in minutes. Upgrading to PRO even unlocked a code editor where I could craft bespoke tools and API calls, giving the system near-limitless flexibility. Behind the scenes, deployments run on Chutes (Subnet 64), allowing agents to spin up on decentralized, serverless GPU compute instead of a single cloud, keeping latency low and scaling effortless. During the closed beta, there were a few issues like image uploads stalling, OAuth redirects going to the wrong URL, and deployment hiccups when starting with a custom tool, but the Rayon Labs team acknowledged them quickly, resolving some immediately and prioritizing others for upcoming fixes. Overall, Squad already feels like a pleasure to use, and I’m excited to see how much further it evolves after the public launch.
