I use Soundit (along with Synergy) to share my sound/keyboard/mouse between my desktop and laptop. It works great! My only complaint is the sound quality. I'm not sure if its bit rate or some really weird equalization. The sound is muffled, like I'm missing the higher frequencies (i.e., pillow over a speaker). There may be some heavy compression going on and I might be missing the lower frequencies too, but I don't often listen to music. Its usually podcasts and videos (while I game on the main PC). If its compression, I hope an option for uncompressed (or less compression) is added. If that's not the issue, I'd like an equalizer to be added.
