I’ve been using Simular for the past few months to run high-fidelity simulations for our autonomous drone project, and it’s quickly become one of the most valuable tools in our workflow. The realism of the physics engine, combined with the flexibility of environment customization, allows us to test edge cases that would be dangerous or impractical in real life. One of Simular’s strongest points is its ability to integrate with ROS and other common robotics frameworks. It made the transition from prototype to simulated testing incredibly smooth. The cloud-based scalability is a game-changer too—we can run hundreds of scenarios in parallel, which speeds up development and debugging significantly. The UI is fairly intuitive for experienced users, but there’s a bit of a learning curve if you're new to simulation platforms. Documentation is decent, though I’d love to see more real-world example projects or video tutorials added. My only minor gripe is the occasional glitch when switching between environments or loading complex assets—nothing show-stopping, but something I hope they continue to optimize in future updates. Overall, Simular feels like a mature, thoughtfully designed product that fills a real need in robotics and AI development. If you're serious about testing in virtual environments before field deployment, it's absolutely worth a look.

It’s pretty straightforward to use and gives me the basic info I need without too much fluff. The dashboard is clean, so it doesn’t overwhelm me with data. That said, it’s not super deep on analytics, but for my everyday needs, it does the job well enough. Overall, a simple tool that fits nicely into my workflow.

The editable, deterministic code for each action is a clever feature that promotes transparency and customizability. However, for less technical users, the interface around editing and managing these actions could feel intimidating. Introducing a more visual, drag-and-drop style editor alongside the code view might make the platform more approachable while keeping power users happy.

Good comment, thank you. Even a traditional drag-and-drop visual editor may not work because Simular Pro tackles the long-tail of UI tasks that do not have API integrations, so the set of options is unbounded. But it is conceivable that a future version of Simular Pro only requires users to instruct it using natural language, while it still retains the reliability and repeatability of code. We will get there.

This is my first time using this product, and I was disappointed to see it only supports macOS. Afterwards, I accessed the cloud computer to try experiencing its autonomous capabilities. I could observe that its thought process follows logical problem-solving steps, but there seem to be some issues with the interaction. For example, I couldn't enter Chinese text in the search box, and it couldn't handle the Google search engine's human verification (captcha). Looking forward to the release of the Windows version.
