SignaturePro Product Information and Latest Updates (2025)

Interesting idea! I can imagine it'd be valuable to people who sign important letters all the time. One doesn't need to use the same signature to sign letters or give autographs as the one they use to sign legally binding agreements, so getting a new one for the former cases makes sense. But I don't get this part on your website: “If you change your signature, you do not need to change the signature in your passport, bank cards, contracts and other documents.” If you want to use your new signature to sign legally binding contracts, it DOES need to match the signature on your passport. You can't just use one that doesn't match, because then there's no proof that the person who signed it is really you… And I'm not talking about digital signature where the proof is your email address.

@anna_0x thank you! 🤗 If you change your signature, you do not need to change the previous one in your passport, other documents, bank cards and contracts. When performing legally significant actions, a person's identity is verified according to the information about the identity of a person specified in their documents. The signature is not information about the identity. So it's really the fact the you personally sign the documents that matters and confirms the document, not the signature copied from your passport itself. There are no requirements in the legislation on the content and shape of the signature, but experts emphasize that it is important for entrepreneurs, managers and directors to have a creative signature that not only identifies a specific person, but also protects documents from forgery.

@annstorm Great idea! I just tried it (as a gift for my daughter) and can't wait to see the result :-) My feedback so far: after my payment was processed, I received a Stripe receipt ...and that's all :-( I didn't have a single clue about the next step or when it would occur.
