As a freelancer Shopify Store Designer, I've used multiple apps over the past few years for Shopify's product reviews. But in my opinion ReviewXpo is undoubtedly the best, smooth, beginner friendly, features wise all in one very casual. The most interesting thing is that their support team is very friendly.🔥

ReviewXpo turned out to be the best review app I’ve tried. I run a Shopify store selling downloadable software and also advise clients who sell electronics, furniture, etc. Right away I noticed ReviewXpo is extremely lightweight – my site (and my clients’ image-heavy sites) stays “blazing fast” even with reviews on every page. The multi-criteria ratings are a game-changer. We can ask buyers to rate specific features (quality, support, battery life, etc.), so feedback is much richer than a single star. It also natively supports photo & video reviews, so customers upload unboxing pics or demos easily (and it stores media in the cloud without slowing anything down). Setting it up was trivial. The review widgets (carousel, grid, list, etc.) are fully customizable – I simply picked my brand colors and fonts and it matched our theme. It even automatically emails review requests after each purchase. I added a small coupon incentive for leaving a photo/video review (a built-in option and within a month our total reviews roughly doubled. The SEO boost is the cherry on top: our star ratings now appear in Google search results (rich snippets), and the app is explicitly “optimized…for SEO”. We’ve seen a noticeable bump in organic traffic since. In short, ReviewXpo solved all our pain points. My clients are thrilled – even furniture and gadget store owners say their sites load fast and collecting detailed reviews has never been easier. It really does feel built for real stores: powerful yet human-friendly, with zero fluff.
