I made an account with Scener roughly a year ago for my long distance relationship, I then canceled my subscription and my account at the beginning of last summer (roughly 8 months ago). Scener no longer acknowledges my account as existing nor has it since I've canceled my membership, however they continued to charge my account for 8 months. Once I realized this and verified that I no longer had an account I called three times and never once was there a person to talk to or a voicemail box. I emailed them and a week later they told me that they canceled my subscription for me and erased my card information but refused to refund me even though my account hasn't been active or existent for the better half of a year. I do not recommend, it is a total scam.
My daughter and I are separated during the quarantine and have specifically been looking for something like this. We love chatting during home movies. Miss the theater expereince, but this is a totally different thing.
