Been using the model for our marketing planning this year and it has made a huge difference in seeing the connection between what we plan to do for our marketing motions and how it is affecting our overall goals.
If not this, I still highly suggest finding a great template that helps you visually track your marketing teams activities and helps rationalise them as part of the overarching business goals.
Otherwise it is easy to end up with a marketing "department" that can not and does not fulfill it's purpose and is deemed to do perhaps nice sounding yet rather useless activities.
Btw we used a much more complex sheet before, which was super nice, but a lot of parts were unused by us and in general it was much harder to see the overall picture.
