2. Get a list of foods you can make
3. Generate an ad-free recipe of the food you want
Hey PH, I launched Robot Recipes last year because I wanted a way to explore recipes that didn't have all the annoying ads that so many other recipes sites have. Since then a lot of you have generated recipes and we now have almost 6,000 recipes available (all ad-free).
But the most common request has been that you want to enter the ingredients you have on hand and generate recipes that use those ingredients. So here it is!
Please let me know what we can tweak to make it more useful. Thank you!!
Any chance you've added a feature allowing me to simply take pictures of what is in my fridge? Having to manually enter all the products I have at hand is quite a hassle.
@awt would assume it is "pretty easy" with the advances of GPT-4 and other models. At least I've seen demos from other companies where they illustrate similar functionality.
@oliver_bahne yes I think you're right.. should be "pretty easy". Tbh I had not thought much about it until your suggestion so I didn't think to add initially. But it seems like a useful feature.
I love this concept. A few "suggestions" or questions. Are the recipes created by AI or our they scraped from the web? If they are from the web it would be great to get the reference. I search Google for recipes ALL the time, but I typically make only recipes that are 5*. If these are scraped is there a way to show by stars? How about the ability to rebuild the recipe? Also, it would be great to have a better print view so that you could select which components of the page to include.
I haven't tried the recipes yet, but I love the visual style and illustration! Well done! Something I've always wanted in recipes apps is the ability to filter recipes by ingredients (e.g. "Tomatoes + basil + red onion"). Is that something you're planning to add?
