It's been awesome watching @dubstrike work on Rayfeed for most of 2017! I even got the privilege of trying it out very early on. Stoked they finally have it out the door! 🎉
You definitely need to go sign up and give Rayfeed a whirl to see just how easy it is to get actionable and valuable user feedback.
Rayfeed gives you insight into your own product that you can't get on your own 💪
Hello Product Hunt!@kioncycle and I are ready to invite you to a **public beta** of our product. It's exciting to finally be able to share it with the world!
Huge thanks to @drewwilson for hunting us 🙌
Andre and I worked together on previous projects. During that time, we saw how difficult it is to get meaningful feedback on concepts and products. We needed a tool to quickly validate our ideas and figure out how to reach product-market fit.
We created Rayfeed, which facilitates user testing for product creators and their customers, to help us do just that.
With Rayfeed you send a special link to the tester, once they open the link they gain access to your prototype/app. The tester can leave feedback and record their screen — no extensions required! 🎉 After they're done, you'll be able to replay everything right in your dashboard.
Why should I use Rayfeed? 🤔️
Usability (and user) testing is an important part of a product's cycle. Studies show that running small and frequent tests with up to 5 users can uncover over 75% usability issues. We want to make it even more seamless for product managers, designers, developers, and founders to get feedback at any stage and uncover those issues. Rayfeed even works with InVision and Marvel prototypes, so your app doesn't need to be live.
Why another thing when there are tools like this already?
We've used similar tools for various projects. There have been a few things that bothered us:
- irrelevant recordings to sift through
- random and irrelevant testers, no way to target the right people
- installing extensions (yuck! 😷)
- expensive for early startups
TLDR; How can we make user testing better?
1. Create organized tests and give interactive directions 📖
2. Test with your actual customer base 💁
3. No extensions to install. Everything happens in your web browser ⚡
4. Clear and affordable pricing 💸
We're here today to answer any questions and invite you to try out Rayfeed! We'd love your feedback on how to make this product better.
Psst — use the code producthunt after your trial ends to get your first 2 months at 50% off 🎉
