As a film maker, educator and animation artist of 25+ yrs - this is a tool I've been waiting for, for awhile! We've always been able to do these kinds of things In software like Maya, Blender with outside motion capture footage -but it usually takes teams of experienced peeps, and more complicated workflows. What Radical is doing is bringing the barrier to entry down so that really anyone - yes anyone, my 10 year old can do it - with an internet connection and a browser can PreViz a film. It is a serious game changer. They are improving their tech daily and are extremely responsive to community notes and suggestions. While the motion capture is not yet as tight as say some of their competitors in the mocap space - their competitors aren't ALSO allowing you to put that capture in a live realtime environment with lights and importable objects in a browser running at 24fps. The mocap tech is totally usable for PreViz situations and even for use as mocap blocking for animated work. I have every confidence that the team will meet and beat out their competitors in this space and suggest all veteran and aspiring film makers out there to check out this company.
I myself love Radical it's the Best one cam mocap site i could find the mocap is really clean with only small issues, here and there making it the best thing out there for price if you want good mocap an amazing team there to help and an easy to use one cam app Radical is the best hands down
