**Beware: Perchance is a frustrating and poorly managed experience**
I’ve tried using Perchance, hoping for a smooth AI-generated storytelling experience, but it’s been a huge disappointment. The verification process is painfully slow—even on high-speed internet, it takes several minutes just to confirm you’re not an AI. This is absurd since the whole site is an AI generator. It feels like the system wasn’t designed with real-world internet speeds in mind, especially for medium or low-speed connections where it’s basically unusable.
The site claims to be for adults, but it’s actually overrun by minors aged 10 to 16 who have effectively bullied all the adults away through relentless cyberbullying. One glaring example is “1CHO Aka Momma Raelyn,” a 30-year-old mother of five, who was viciously harassed and falsely accused of being a pedophile without any evidence. The chat sections are a nightmare—full of minors behaving inappropriately and violently, with no moderation or oversight whatsoever.
Speaking of moderation, there is none. No chat monitors, no community guidelines enforcement—nothing. The site is basically a free-for-all, making it a toxic environment for any adult user.
And the AI-generated stories? The quality is shockingly poor—more like something written by a child between 7 and 12 years old, full of misspelled names and nonsensical deviations from the prompts you give. It’s baffling that a site advertised for mature users delivers such low-quality, inconsistent results.
Overall, Perchance is a frustrating waste of time, plagued by poor verification, toxic community behavior, lack of moderation, and subpar AI output. I can’t recommend it to anyone serious about AI storytelling or a safe, respectful online space.
