Lifetime deal owners are being forced to buy a monthly plan or their accounts will be deactivated. Not a trustworthy company.

THis is such a great platform!! It's super easy and super useful. We use it to get bank notices and create external notifications to our messaging systems, amongst other things. Highly recommend this to anyone that needs to organize email data into workflows!
The cherry on top is the highly engaged team behind it!

The "Lifetime" Deal That Didn't Last a Lifetime 🕐💔
TL;DR: Bought a "Lifetime Deal" for Parsio in 2022. In 2025, they decided "lifetime" means 1-3.5 years. Now pushing paid subscriptions. Proceed with caution, fellow hunters! 🚨
Hey Product Hunt fam! 👋 Dropping in with a heads-up about my experience with Parsio. As we all know, lifetime deals can be game-changers for bootstrappers and startups, but this one didn't play out as expected.
The Good (while it lasted):
✅ Solid parsing functionality
✅ Worked as advertised for about 3 years
The Not-So-Good:
❌ "Lifetime" apparently means 1-3.5 years
❌ Sudden plan obsolescence announcement
❌ Account access issues (still unresolved)
❌ Pushed to migrate to a paid plan or feature-limited free tier
❌ Support feels more like a chatbot than a human (and not a good one)
The Plot Twist:
In Feb 2025, Parsio dropped the bombshell that our "lifetime" plans were becoming obsolete. No prior heads-up, no grandfathering, just a "migrate or downgrade" ultimatum. 😕
Support Saga:
• Me: "I can't log in."
• Parsio: "Use forgot password."
• Me: "Still can't log in."
• Parsio: "Create a new account."
• Me: "But my lifetime plan..."
• Parsio: "Oh, that's actually only for a year." 🤦♂️
Lesson Learned:
Always read the fine print, even on PH deals. "Lifetime" might not mean what you think it means.
Questions for the Community:
1. Has anyone else experienced similar issues with Parsio?
2. What alternatives would you recommend for reliable parsing services?
3. How do you vet "lifetime" deals before jumping in?
Final Thoughts:
While Parsio's tech seemed solid, their business practices left a lot to be desired. As hunters, we're always on the lookout for the next big thing, but sometimes we need to watch out for each other too.
Remember: A deal is only as good as the company's word. Choose wisely, hunt responsibly! 🕵️♂️🚀

Intentional Service Downgrade for first users, my paid account has been closed because of this review.
I’ve been using Parsio for over two years now, and I was one of the first users since I signed up through AppSumo. I was thrilled with the service, which worked extremely well until last November.
I was using Parsio to extract data from certain emails I receive. However, the email forwarding feature no longer works, and Parsio no longer "receives" emails forwarded by Gmail. The customer service, which is extremely poor by the way, suggested I subscribe to a €30/month add-on to get the service working again.
I’ve perfectly understood the move: Parsio intentionally degraded the service for AppSumo customers in order to force them into a paid monthly plan.
I find that shameful and disgraceful.
