I appreciated the flexibility of being able to rent for 6 months until I found a permanent place. It gave me the time I needed! The rooms are about what you'd expect in the city—pretty small. My single room had just enough space for a desk and a bed. Overall, it was a good experience, though the limited space might be a downside for some.

The process of finding housing in New York City can be very stressful. But thanks to Outpost, it was simple and fast. The information and 3-D tour on website was helpful. Staff host who showed me the building was fantastic. Couldn't have asked for better service! Overall, I secured a nice, clean apartment close to my workplace at a reasonable price.

I moved into the Bedford House last week and am feeling really positive about my experience. Everyone I’ve interacted with at Outpost has been extremely kind and professional. My bedside lamp wasn’t working so I put in a maintenance ticket that was resolved the very next day. For perspective i moved in around 7pm the day earlier. It is such a joy to know that I can get directly in touch with people accountable for fixing maintenance issues rather than desperately trying to flag down a no-name landlord that will literally never fix them. Outstanding experience so far!

I've really enjoyed living there. I advocate for a single room because I prefer having a space to myself. The rooms are well-organized, and the bathrooms are clean. The laundry and kitchen services are quite convenient as well. However, the dishwasher in our apartment was out of order for a while, which was quite inconvenient.

Was I doubt about looking at the space with strangers? It seemed like a recipe for the disaster. But after a month, I have completely changed. Everything is installed for you, the house is clean and modern, and people are surprisingly not terrible. No strange cragslist roommates, no strange venmo requests for utilities, and no sketch landlord does not give you ghosts. Just a stress-free, trick-to-house house with a built-in social life. This is the clever way to live in NYC, and I am not convinced that I have not taken it soon today.

I remained in the Redwood outpost for about five months, and it exceeded my expectations. First, Ridwood is such an undefied neighborhood - cool cool compared to the busy parts of Brooklyn, but still in Manhattan has a luxurious bar, restaurant and a quick metro ride. The house itself was maintained clean, modern and well. My personal room was comfortable, but I wanted everything that, and shared places were great for socialization. In fact it was special that people were - I met some amazing friends, and we often have dinner, sports nights, or look at the city together.

I recently moved in to the Maison Edgecombe property and I'm over the moon!! My room is decorated so cute and has great lighting. I love the Keith Haring art and lanterns, the whole apartment has an artsy vibe. My closet door got stuck and the property manager Dominique was super nice and helpful!
