Hi Everyone! Thanks for supporting my first launch on Product Hunt! We ended up in 4th place, which is huge!
Here are the next features I m planning for One Task X:
recurring tasks
multi-device sync
(what you would like to see here)
One Task X
Hey Product Hunt! I’m Akos, maker of One Task X and this is my first launch here. 😊 But let me ask you this: do you Ever feel buried by endless to-do lists?
We’ve all been there—half-done tasks piling up, focus fading.
One Task X flips that: pick one task daily to crush, while keeping your bigger list in check. It’s not about doing less—it’s about doing what matters, one “X” at a time.
Features:
- a standout “Today” task (only one allowed!)
- a clean list for everything else, and a satisfying tick-off vibe.
- no signup
- no installation
- mobile & web
- dark/light theme
- everything is stored on your device, encrypted
Try it, tick it, tell me what you think! Thanks!

@masump it's super simple. You can put only one task into the Today column and you can't have priorities besides that. Once that task is moved out from the Today column, you can put something else there. Recurring tasks aren't a thing yet in the app, but it's a great idea. Thank you!

@john_tans thank you :)
minimalist phone: creating folders
Will be possible to have it like "downloadable" app?
One Task X
@busmark_w_nika in browsers that support PWA apps, you can download the app and run it from desktop like a native app. Hope this answers your question!

@akoskm Yes! Thank you! :)
One Task X
Thanks! Yeah, there are tradeoffs, for example, to have some multi-device sync I'd need to have some sign-in functionality but I had the single task concept in my focus for now.
