Hi Sebastian here, As a developer I had to integrate notifications several times into existing products and it was never easy. There are SaaS solutions but not all my customers were happy with that. I was overwhelmed by the complexity. You have to deal with all the channels and their special behavior and you want to have a robust solution with good error handling and automatic retires. Furthermore I had to write a lot of code for subscription handling and user management. Therefore I created notifo, to build a reusable solution for all platforms and programming language. It is implemented as a service, not a library, to make it easy to integrate into a micro-service architecture. Notifo has already been integrated into several products, by myself and others, but it is still in an early stage. I hope you will find it useful. I am looking forward to your feedback and critics.
