I signed up with MyDesigns on August 6, 2023, and purchased a year of their Pro services. On November 25, 2023, the MyDesigns company ran a promotion for a Pro Plus plan that I purchased with the understanding that my previous purchase of the Pro plan would be refunded to me on prorated terms, as promised by the owner of MyDesigns, Curtis Blackmore, in one of the community board messages. However, the prorated refund was never issued. I wrote a message to the company asking them to look into it, but I never got any reply.
After trying out the upgraded services for several hours, I realized they were not meeting my expectations (it was laggy and frustratingly slow), and I canceled the service on the same day, November 25, 2023, from my account page. However, instead of a refund, the note on my account stated that my cancellation was pending for a year from the day of purchase. I wrote a message to the MyDesigns company using their refund form, explaining that I was unsatisfied with the service and would like to cancel it and ask for a refund. I haven't received any reply or acknowledgment. I didn't get a refund either.
According to the MyDesigns refund policies posted on the company’s website, if I am not satisfied with the service for any reason, I can get a refund within seven days of making a purchase. I requested the refund on the same day I made a purchase. I contacted the company via the contact form as suggested on their website. I contacted the company through the community message board. I didn’t get any response. It seems to me that MyDesigns avoids any communication while deceiving their customers. I would advise anyone to stay away from this company.
