Hey Product Hunt 👋 I've had this project hidden away somewhere in my computer for a couple of years now, so I decided I might as well try to polish it up a bit and share it with the world. It's a motion graphics editor like After Effects, but modeled after tools like Canva or Kapwing, with an asset browser that you can use to search for images, videos, and more to add into your project. The way it works is very simple. Drop your assets into the canvas, position them however you like, and enable animation by clicking on the clock icon on the layers (or individual properties if you prefer). You create new keyframes automatically by seeking to a time point and changing the properties of the layer. I wrote up a bit of a guide in Notion that you can check out here. I shared a lot of my progress building this editor in my newsletter, if you're curious. Ultimately while I had a lot of plans for it, I realized that it was far too challenging to work with the old and outdated codebase, and I would have had to rewrite the whole thing from zero using some framework to make any substantial progress with it. So I decided to just launch it as is, for free and without any fancy gimmicks. The code is available on GitHub if you'd like to contribute to Motionity, self-host it, or build your own motion graphics editor.

Another amazing launch @alyssaxuu, this is something I've wanted for ages, more often then not a downloadable processor heavy app is just overkill for what I want to do, excited to use this!
