Answer this honestly: Do you know how many SaaS services you share your users’ and customers’ data with? And are you sure you always delete PII from all the systems when receiving data subject requests? If not... you could be putting yourself at compliance and privacy risks, but don’t be too harsh on yourself. Many companies today struggle with locating all the data sources and SaaS services that their company uses. Even if you’re part of the few companies that have taken their data mapping beyond the manual approach, this only covers 20% to 30%.
