Maildbird on macOS is beautiful but I can not pin emails and keep them on the top of the list. A lot of settings missing. Emails take a lot of time to arrive, I need constantly refresh. That’s it. I hope you can improve the mailbird for Mac. Anyway, I purchase premium lifetime license + updates for 1yr.
For a first edition of so called "excellent mail app" on windows now on Mac, there's still a lot of room for improvements. 1. drag and drop attachments is not working. 2. no multi-selection. 3. there's only a few setting options. 4. when i send an email on mailbird mac, I don't see a sent copy on my server & my phone I paid for lifetime. also for yearly upgrade. But I do hope they fix those problem fast cause i'm still thinking about the 14 day refund and why i pay for this when Apple Mail & Spark works just fine :)
Mailbird on Windows is fire. Mailbird on Mac seems promising. Following in the hopes of encouraging the development of Mac as that's my primary platform for work now. Main Requests: 1. Cmd+M does not minimize window. 2. Drap and drop file attachment, either as attachment or in-line (image). 3. Multiple selection to archive, delete emails. Needs to be done one by one. Love you guys, but this ain't a 1.0.
I've been using Mailbird for a while now, and overall, it's been a positive experience. The ability to manage multiple email accounts from a single, unified inbox is a significant time-saver. Its clean and intuitive design makes daily email management more efficient. What I Appreciate: 1) Unified Inbox: Bringing all my email accounts into one place simplifies monitoring and responding to messages without the need to switch between different platforms. 2) Integration Capabilities: Mailbird supports a variety of third-party apps like WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, and Asana. This integration allows me to handle communications and manage tasks directly from the Mailbird interface, reducing the clutter of multiple open applications. 3) Customization Options: The client offers various customization features, enabling me to tailor the interface to my preferences and enhance my workflow. Areas for Improvement: 1) Performance on macOS: While Mailbird has been available for Windows users for some time, the macOS version was released more recently and may not yet be as optimized as its Windows counterpart. I’ve encountered occasional performance issues and bugs on my Mac, which can be frustrating. 2) Mobile Support: Currently, Mailbird does not offer a mobile app. Having mobile access would be beneficial for managing emails on the go, and I hope this feature is considered for future development. 3) Advanced Features: While Mailbird covers the basics well, it lacks some advanced features found in other email clients, such as sophisticated filtering options and more robust search capabilities. In summary, Mailbird provides a streamlined and user-friendly email experience, particularly for those looking to consolidate multiple accounts. However, there is room for enhancement, especially regarding performance on macOS and the addition of mobile support.
I used Mailbird on Windows a while ago and quite liked it. When I saw that they planned to make a macOS version I signed up for their mail list immediately. Now, years later I finally got an email to join the beta and hopped right in. Unfortunately Mailbird has since switched away from developing a native app to electron. Mailbird is almost 1GB in size which makes it more than 30x larger than Apple mail. This enormous size leads to relatively long startup times and the interface has an overall sluggish feeling to it and doesn't feel native at all. Being not happy at all, I requested a refund only to get an automated email that the support email address they link to is no longer active. Bummer! I contacted their feedback address and have yet to receive a refund. Edit: The refund is now being processed! Bad product, bad business practices. Stay away.
