At first, I was skeptical. There have been dozens of AI video apps launched this year and they all do the same text-to-video generation. What was different here was the UX. Magic Hour takes a thoughtful approach to giving you a toolset, and then making it easy for you to take baby steps towards using them. For non-AI techies, this is a godsend.
Great tool for content creation. They have so many options (text-to-video, face swap, etc.). The videos are solid quality and so so easy to make. They also have a ton of free tools so you can try them out before you buy.
I tried a lot of faceswap softwares/apps that promised to produce a side-view image/video from a front view photo. The results were dismal, so I was very excited by the result of the faceswap video produced by Magic Hour. Congratulations!
This team just gets it. They get that we're all smooth brains who want to click, tap on the toilet to generate some creative videos we can post on socials later. This accomplishes that in droves and is an easy way to spend an afternoon. Speed could be faster but I expect that to improve with scaling laws.
I tried it after seeing it on Product Hunt and made a really fun music video to my favorite band's latest track. Felt compelled to say it surpassed my expectations.
