I was trying multiple product solutions for managing displays at our community space (TinkerSpace), and nothing really worked the way we needed. During the search, we even looked into how places like restaurants, KFC, McDonald’s, and others handle their digital signage. Their setups looked great—but the products they used were either way too expensive or required additional hardware, which just didn’t make sense for us. We run a lot of events, and our display content changes frequently—posters, short videos, GIFs, announcements—you name it. Most tools we tried had problems like black screens during transitions, clunky access controls, or required too much effort to manage.
